As mentioned at training last night, after last week's poor first team performance against Weymouth Sports, I want a positive response on Saturday from both teams.

Due to the first team cup game, we would have been making changes anyway, but I will now be making more changes to the first team than originally anticipated due to recent performances as well as experimentation.

The important thing for players to remember is that if they do find themselves in the reserve team squad, they can only bounce back to first team action the following weekend with good performances.

I can understand player's disappointment if not selected for first team action, but the best reaction you can give is to bite your tongue and get on with it.  I want commitment and passion from the players in both teams this weekend, and I expect that every week from this point on.

The first team are at home to Shaftesbury Reserves in the Dorset Senior Trophy 3rd Round, whilst the reserves face Lychett Red Triangle (away) in the league.  Both squads will be announced on the website on Thursday evening.

If you are NOT available for any reason, you need to let Gary know before Thursday on 07837656899.  Running at the club takes place at 6pm on Thursday evening and I will be attending to see who turns up.
