After originally signing for the club in June 2007, Mike Budd returned to the club in October 2010 after a spell at Warminster Town. Prior to the move to Dorset in 2007 Mike played for Hythe & Dibden, Downton and Farnborough Northend.The central midfielder, who can also play in up more advanced positions, made a real impact following his return to the club in October 2010. As a result, Mike was appointed captain for the first team before the start of the 2011/12 Dorset Senior League campaign.
During the 2010/11 season, Mike showed great ability to hold up the ball in a forward position to invite others to join in attacks. The Liverpool supporter was the first team top goalscorer in 2010/11.
