Not the best of starts to a season, struggled all week to raise a team, finally got 11 travelled to Bridport to play our first game of the season.

In the first half we played well but three silly mistakes cost us 3 goals , in the second half we were ok for the first few minutes then Bridport scored three quick goals, our lads seemed to be giving up, then we had a ten minute spell where again we played some good football but then Bridport scored and we were battling to finish the game it was backs against the wall as they were always on the attack, the final whistle goes and we have been well beaten.

there was some positives from the game some players having to play out of posistion but had responded to the challenge. Tom White playing at centre half, Andy Ford at left back, Liam Frampton at wide on the right of midfield all did a job, in fact all eleven that played gave there all on the day we were not good enough as a team, but I am sure it will change when everyone is available.
