Struggled to get a team together all week and lucky for us that Steve Mannings whom managed to persuade three lads from his Bourmouth University team to play which we signed on saturday, gave us eleven. the game started badly for us as we went 2 down inside 5 minutes. we got it together alittle and it was another 15 minutes before corfe  went further ahead, we again started to play and in the 35th minute got a goal back with a Mike Revell shot that went between keeper and post. Half time we were down but with all the new faces just starting to play.Just befor half time a clash of heads and Nick Brooks has to leave the field due to a bleeding nose, after the half time break Nick returns but is in pain. The second half was 5 minutes old a ball played forward and Carl Bradley ran past a defender took possesion racedwith the ball into the penalty area the chasing defender made a challnge from behind bring down Carl, the referee awarded a penalty and then there were cries from the Corfe players that the club linesman had his flag up, which appeared as the whistle was blown. The referee went to consult the linesman (who was a substitute) after a lengthy discussion the ref changed his decission and he awarded a freekick 5 yards into the Corfe half for offside, which I find very difficult to believe as Carl had run past  a defender to get to the ball. It was a sickening blow to the team and the heart was ripped out of them and during the next 15 mins we concede 3 more. With 15 mins to go Nick has to come off and we had to play the last minutes with only 10. Cofre took full advantage of this and scored five more. Another defeat yes but we finished with 10 in that 10 Liam Newton played the whole game injured carrying an ankle injury one of our new signing Gareth Owens pulled a muscle midway through the second half but i must credit all with their effort Nick, Liam and Gareth had we had some substitutes would have been replaced but all three played on not to let the team down. And of course a hurendous decission made by a club linesman which had the penalty been given and we had scored could have changed the game, maybe not the result but score line, but it was a blantant bending of the rules that tore us to shreads.

We all need to attend training and be available on a regular basis, injuries cannot do anything but wait, or else what is the point. we have to get together train and work as a club 1st and especially 2nd team to get results.
