Well done to everyone in the squad as this was the first time we competed for the 90 minutes this season, it was another defeat but what an improvement, we did have a full squad which made a change. It was an even game during the first half we did create a couple of chances , but defensively we were sound not giving Matt Robson a lot to do except some long range shots which he dealt with at ease. As the half was closing you could see that Weymouth were a little frustrated as they thought they would have an easy game, it certainly was not. at half time there is no score which is a credit to the way the team has played.

 The second half is similar to the first we are playing good football passing the ball around well doing our job and we are causing them problems at the back. Defensively we looked good the back having control, that was until the 75th minute when from a free kick their centre half scored with a header at the far post, this did not deter us as we fought back and in the 85th minute we were awarded a free kick about ten yards outside the penalty area, ther was a lot of jostling going on and the referee stopped play and warned the players to stop or he would take action, the free kick was taken and the whistle goes and we are awarded a penalty. This causes mayhem and after a few minutes Chris Frear steps up and hits the ball firmly into the back of the net. The referee is surround by Weymouth players and our players are celbrating. The referee makes his way back behind his back the keeper kicks the ball away into the car park and swings from the net breaking several ties. We then have to repair the damage before the game can be restarted. in the twelth minute of added time Weymouth score but we still have time to create a couple of chances, the final whistle goes and we have lost, we deserved a draw, but all could hold their heads high as they had played well. lets hope we can continue like this and we will soon be off the bottom of the league.
