As this was our last fixture we knew what we had to achieve. we played the game on an artifial G3 pitch at redlands, the game got underway and we were passing the ball around well, and we went on the attack then in the 9th minute a great flowing passing movement ended with Robbie Proctor recieving the ball and controlling it with his thigh and then volleying the ball into the net, one of the best goals scored this season from the reserves a good number of players involved and a great finish. The team continued playing some great football, passing was excellent but we could not add to the early goal there were good efforts from Teejay, Darren and callum but their keeper made some good stops, we were occansinonally caught out by a Weymouth counter attack and we dealt with what was thrown at us. the half time whistle goes and we are still only 1-0 up. The second half Weymouth came at us but our defence were coping well sometimes a little panic crept in. we counter attacked and Teejay was put through on put an exceelent stop preventd us from scoring, although we spent a lot of the second half defending we were creating some chances, then in the 82nd minute we conceded, we continued when we could to go forward and in the last minute Weymouth scored. the final whistle soon followed, we had been beaten, but had done enough to finish out of the bottom two. You deserve to be proud of yourselves.

I would like to thank all the players who have played for the reserves this season for their efforts and commitment, at christmas finishing at the bottom looked like a good bet but they stood together and climbed the mountain and got themselves out of the mess we were in and out of the bottom two, Well Done and i am proud to be your manager.

Many thanks to Gary, Steve, Rick and Derek.

Also a BIG THANKYOU to our sponsors INDUSTRIAL LINKS for their support again this season.

Yet again another good preformance not the result we would have liked but to keep the goaldifference to a minimum was what we needed and the team responded to it. The Signals needing to win to have the opportunity to win the league and we needed a point to save us from relegation this was an intriging game we had a game plan stuck to it and got a result that did us little harm. During the first half the Signals attacked us but were finding it difficult to break us down they did have a couple of chances but shot wide. then after thirty minutes they scored and within five minutes added number two we went in at half time 2-0 down having played well. At the start of the second half we had a good spell and in the 55th minute we were awarded a corner, the corner taken by Teejay he hit a low cross and this was met by a diving header from Callum Frampton, he directed the ball towards goal and went into the roof of the net. the game was fairly even although most of the attacking came from the Signals with an occasional attack from ourselves. Then with twelve minutes to go a Signals player was brought down inside the area the ref blew his whistle and pointed to the spot. Keeper Matt Robson dived to his left and the kick went straight and into the net. With game nearing the end we created a couple of half chances, the final whistle goes and we have been beaten 3-1 but all had played had played well and gives us a chance on Saturday of staying up.

Another good preformance gaining another point in a fight against relegation. The game was only 50 seconds old when Dorchester opened the scoring, a couple of months ago this would have been a disaster but not now, we got ourselves together and played some good football and putting our opponents under pressure, Dorchester did have some attacks but very dealt with by our defence well. Midway through the half we equalised when a shot by Clive Metcalfe curled inside of the post. we did create more chances, but failed to find the net. At half time we were level 1-1. When we came for the second half we continued to play as the first half our midfield trio were working hard and in the 69th minute we were awarded a penalty due to their keeper pushing Rob Ford. Teejay Smith-Mcfarlane took the kick and hit the ball past the keeper into the net. Dorchester raised their game and but us under pressure and we were coping well that is until the 82nd minute and from a corner the ball was headed into our net by a Dorchester forward. The team played out the last minutes and we held on to get a draw from the game final result 2-2.

The squad has over the last 8 games have played with passion and have nearly got us to safety, thankyou to everyone.

After an excellent preformance on saturday, we followed it with a very poor preformance against probably the best team in the league, we never got going in the first half only very breifly playing good football but there was not much football played by us, we were second to the ball most of the time our movement was not good at all and if it hadn't been for some excellent saves by Matt Robson we could have been a lot more down at half time, we went in 3-0 down. We started the second half a lot better but again after 10mins we conceded and a minute later we conceded again. then came our best spell when for the next 15 minutes we took the game to Milborne and we managed to reduce the difference when a Matt Elson shot went past their keeper into the net. but this only inspired our opponents and in the last 15 minutes we conceded two more. Not a very enjoyable game for us, we have four games left to try and put the wrongs of this defeat right. We didn't give up but we need to concentrate a lot more and work together as team.

All players are requested to be at club 5pm unlless they have informed me different. Rex

We can all be proud after watching the first team, the reserves took on Dorchester Sports and they worked hard and never at any stage were we over whelmed by our visitors, we chased and rushed tem into mistakes, and we went in at half time with the scores all level, 0-0. We came out in the second half and carried on where we had left off passing the ball well not totaly in control but didn't look in any danger. Then in the 70th minute there was an incident and unfortunatley for us Warren Meadowcroft reacted to a very clumsy challenge and the referee showed him the red card. We reorganised and kept our heads still looking strong at the back we did manage an attack and the ball was goal bound and a defender headed the ball away, then with ten minutes to go the ball played into their area and Darren Spiller was there to finish the move off scoring his third in his last three games for the reserves. Dorch came back at us but our defence held firm and if they got through Matt Robson was there to stop the ball, the final whistle goes and we have gained a valuable victory, 1-0.
