"We want SNUFC Youth section to be THE place in North Dorset where people take their children to play and learn football. Every child that comes to us will be encouraged and supported to develop and be the very best they can be; irrespective of ability and at whatever level that may be, School, Club, County or World class. We want everyone to know that The Long Term Player development is our primary objective."

Aims and Objectives:-

We will achieve our mission by;

1. SNUFC Youth Section will encourage and promote children's' football at all ages and ability.

2. We will provide opportunities for teams and players to flourish and grow.

3. We will fund these activities through donations, subscriptions and fund raising.

4. We will encourage participation and support from parents, carers, as well as players explaining what is required of them utilising the FA Codes of Conduct.

5. All the coaches working towards being the very best they can be so as to best serve their teams and themselves. This will be achieved by;

a. Continued Professional Development of each coach.

b. Progression at a sustainable level utilising the FA Coaching Pathway framework.

c. Attending in house training events and workshops.

d. Attendance at DCFA and other training events and workshops.

e. Observation of best practice by suitably qualified and other guest coaches

f. Volunteering for specialist roles as required. e.g., Disabled football, Tournament organiser and Committee member etc.

g. A voluntary mentoring system in accordance with FA guidance on best practice.

h. Guest coaching different teams on a rotation basis as appropriate.

i. Providing developmental opportunities for the children that are fun and exciting, while challenging each individual child at an appropriate level.

j. Supporting the ethos that development of the players is more important than match results.

k. Adhere to the coaches' code of conduct and the FA Respect programme.
