Year Groups 2, 3, 4 & 5 were invited to attend the first training session of the Tiny Cherries @ SNUFC on Saturday 24th September.
A fantastic 25 new players started attended accross the age ranges, even a couple of 5 year olds joined in also. The clubhouse was
full of parents and Tara has already had orders for bacon rolls for this weeks session!!
The first session was run by Martin Dighton from the FA Skills Programme and it was enjoyed by children and parents alike.
Youth Secretary Rich Barnes is leading the sessions with the support of one of the parents Justin Woodward, they will be further
supported by Leon and the other Youth Coaches.
The main aims of these sessions are to get more children playing football, get more people involved in SNUFC and long term to fill
the lower age gaps in the Youth Teams.
Sessions are on Sat mornings from 10-1130 and are £1 per child.
