Sturminster Newton United's reserve team have announced that Rick Revell has been promoted to Joint Reserve Team Manager to work alongside current manager Rex Upshall.

Rick has been working alongside Rex at various intervals since the start of the season, and the club can now confirm that the two will hold joint responsibility for managing the side.  Having joined the club as First Team Coach this summer, Rick will take up his new position with immediate effect.

"The two of them work really well together" said first team manager Gary Head. "They both share similar views on how the game should be played and I have no doubt that they will continue to work brilliantly together"
